Goin' Under, is your premiere private scuba educational facility, since September 07, 1994. Educating and Instructing students so that they can achieve their dreams of becoming a Scuba Diver. As of now, I have trained and educated a total of 3,775 students and still going strong. All training is done privately on a 1 to 1 basis or your group of family or friends. You will have my undivided 100 % attention, no sharing of your instructor with a class of 12 or even more students. I also furnish all of the dive equipment needed for your training, no rental fees for equipment in the pool or your check out dives. When the time arrives for your Open Water Dives, once again it will be your choice as to locations that you prefer, Freshwater Springs, or Rivers, the main Spring that I like to utilize is Vortex Spring, you can look at their website at www.vortexspring.com, secondly I like to utilize Morrison Spring, thirdly I like the super clear Wakulla River, the choice is yours & yours alone ! All certifications are done thru Scuba Educators and PDIC, Professional Diving Instructors Corporation. Here is where it all begins ! All gear and equipment is furnished free of charge to you, nothing to buy. Unlimited time in the pool , everything will be done to your comfort as well as confidence, no rushing at all, everything will be done at your pace and schedule , whatever day or time that you would like, day or night with the underwater lights on.

First off, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I started off my diving career at the tender age of only 5 years old, I am now 65 years old, so I have seen just about all of the advances in our sport, and this sport has certainly undergone some major changes. I was with the Academic Diving Program @ Florida State University for 7 years. I am also the Training Director for the Wakulla County Sherriff’s Office Underwater Search & Rescue Dive Team as well as the Taylor County Fire Rescue Dive Team in Perry Florida and 9 other Counties. All of these are extremely rewarding experiences for myself and I feel quite honored for my involvement with them. I also sponsor all of the rivers in Wakulla Underwater cleanups since 1984. In 2022, our local newspaper The Wakulla News started an idea called the Readers Choice Awards, I am extremely proud and humbled to have been voted Best of 2022 & 2023 Dive Shop as well as Best Scuba Instructor. This is an extreme honor for me because this was voted by the readers of The Wakulla News.
